The Man of Action Foundation is a UK charity committed to tackling the knife crime epidemic by creating safer communities through music, sport, media, and modern entrepreneurial opportunities.
At the heart of our work is a call to action: a call for fathers, father-figures, and male mentors to step up and lead by example. We believe real change begins with strong role models and safe spaces where young people can express themselves, learn new skills, and build brighter futures.
Founded by a collective of artists, athletes, producers, and community leaders, the Man of Action Foundation delivers hands-on programmes and high-impact campaigns that inspire confidence, creativity, and connection.
OUR MISSION
To reduce knife crime and youth violence by providing life-changing opportunities and positive male role models to young people across the UK — using the power of music, sport, media, and entrepreneurial education to transform lives.
We:
– Deliver music, sport, media, and trading/entrepreneurship programmes
– Support young people with mentorship and personal development
– Mobilise men to take responsibility and become active protectors
– Collaborate with schools, communities, and public figures to promote real change
Music & Creative Expression
Workshops in songwriting, music production, performance, and spoken word — empowering young people to turn pain into purpose and be heard through positive expression.
Sport for Change
Sport-based programmes that promote teamwork, discipline, and leadership. From football to boxing and basketball, we use sport to engage hard-to-reach youth and instil self-respect and resilience.
TV & Film
Training in scriptwriting, presenting, content creation, and storytelling. We help young people explore careers in the media and entertainment industries — both behind and in front of the camera.
Influencer & Personal Brand Building
We train young people to grow authentic online platforms, create purposeful content, and responsibly navigate the world of social media, partnerships, and visibility. This programme focuses on influence with impact.
E-Commerce & Reseller Business
Through mentoring and practical training, young people learn how to set up online businesses, source products, and resell goods legally and ethically — from sneakers to streetwear to digital items.
Trading & Crypto Literacy
We provide educational resources and guidance on understanding markets, managing risk, and navigating trading and cryptocurrency in a safe and informed way. Financial literacy is a key to independence and empowerment.
Mentorship & Fatherhood Campaigns
We encourage and equip men to take a proactive role in the lives of young people — as mentors, father-figures, and role models in their homes and communities.
